Well, this was Husband's and my first canoe trip in a couple of years-and I must say I was missing our yearly jaunts down either the John Day or the Umpqua river. So this trip was a great way for us to get back into the habit of canoeing without much stress. It was a 1/2 day float, putting in at Horseshoe Bend and taking out at Emmett. Maybe next summer we'll go all out and try a 2 day-er!

OH look! It's our Little Red Rider canoe! I hadn't heard if Jerry and Judy managed to stay dry this time...
Aaannnddd... notice the fact that there hasn't been a canoe trip since we left town... coincidence? I think not. I know it's just too hard to enjoy yourselves without our uplifting presence...
Can't wait to get back and float again with you!
